I ordered these superfood bites for my 14-year-old Australian Shepherd and my 16½-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. I try to limit the ingredients in their treats so they don’t end up with stomach aches, and these looked really appealing.I like that they include turmeric and coconut oil, and the ingredient list is overall really clean. They definitely smell like banana, so I wasn’t sure one of my dogs was going to go for them, but she ended up liking them anyway, which was a nice surprise. They come in little heart-shaped cookies, which is honestly pretty cute.I also appreciate that they’re manufactured in the United States. The brand story about their own dog having a sensitive stomach stood out to me too. I especially like that they’re powered by solar energy. Since I live off-grid and rely on solar myself, that part actually means something to me. These have been a great treat option for my senior pups.
Dog Treat Naturals: Superfood Bites - Peanut Butter & Banana are aromatically delicious. When you open the bag you can smell the banana and peanut butter. I'm not going to lie, the smell made me hungry. These treats are the perfect size for my small dog. They aren't super hard. They break up easily and are easy to eat. My dog loves these. He doesn't usually get excited about biscuit type treats. He was excited about these. I love the clean ingredients. I appreciate any brand that goes out of their way to make food healthier for all dogs. I have a senior dog and these are great for his health. Good value.
My dogs loved these! I was worried because one of my four corgis had a sensitive stomachs, but it didn’t bother her! My kids said they smelt good even! They’re cute little heart shapes are adorable they’re not very hard and easily chewed. Not a lot in the bag though, so I can’t really agree on value for money or not. But they’re easy to crumble or break if you need to.
When I’m looking for snacks for my dog, I like to see a short list of food ingredients rather than something that looks like a science experiment gone wrong. My dogs like them and seem to enjoy the taste and the light crunchiness. they smell like banana like real food. Banana not artificial banana flavoring. The size is perfect for all but the smallest pups. The addition of a few of these a day didn’t cause any tummy troubles. Given the quality and the amount of treats in the bag, the price feels like a good value. I’m happy with these and would order again.

The ingredients are all things I'd happily eat--no fillers, by-products, unrecognizable anything or preservatives. The company is making the treats in the U.S in an environmentally conscious facility.These treats smell amazing--banana, peanut butter and coconut. They're slightly crumbly, and soft enough to easily break into smaller pieces to use as training incentives.While I didn't taste them myself, Mutt assures me that they are delicious and that the bag is intended to be a single serving.The price was ALSO a pleasant surprise--the quality is great, and I probably couldn't buy all the ingredients to make them at home for the price of the bag.10/10--Mutt and I both think these are great!
My dog is obsessed with these treats! When I opened the bag, I was hit with the delicious scent of peanut butter and banana. I'm telling you, it smelled so good, I almost wanted to eat them! They are adorably heart-shaped, which just makes it even cuter. My dog is large, and these are a bit small, so she gets to have a few at a time to make it a filling treat for her. And they're made with turmeric, which is supposed to help her joints, so they have health benefits, as well.They are crumbly and do break apart easily, but that's because they are soft-baked, which I appreciate because it's easier for my dog to eat. And she does not let any crumbs go to waste - she will get every bit of it off the floor. Normally, it takes her a few tries to get used to a new treat, but not with these. I was surprised and happy. I like finding her new treats, especially when they are a great value like these are.

Dog Treat Naturals: Superfood Bites have one major advantage for me over other dog treats ... they are made without meat, fish or poultry. They are vegetarian like me. Though I do feed my dog regular dog food and treats, I find holding them in my hand really really unpleasant. The struggle is real.Anyway, these make it easy for me and my dog likes them too. They aren't a chew or a treat you give that will occupy time to eat. For my Golden Retriever, it's down the hatch in a minute but we have treats for different occasions and this is "good night, sleep tight" treat for us and then a special treat for today.They feel like soft cookies, are shaped like a heart which is cute for me and have a simple natural ingredient list. The only issue I have with them is that they contain a sweetener, in this case, molasses and honey. My dog loves the taste of peanut butter and is perfectly happy with unsweetened treats and I am happier with them too. I don't believe dogs need sugar and so I removed a star for the added sweetener. It's an almost perfect treat, but not quite.
My dog LOVES these, and I do too. If I told you they taste great, I'd be lying; I haven't tasted them. But I will say that if I were ever wanting to taste a dog treat, this would be it. It has a strong, natural banana scent to it. If I'm going to touch a dog treat, I prefer it to be one that I don't feel like I have to rush to the bathroom and scrub my hands after so that I'm not stuck with a lingering smell.The treats themselves are somewhat large. For my chihuahua, I could easily make the bag last longer by splitting them in half. They are nice and soft; not hard at all. My bag wasn't super crumbly, thankfully.There are a lot of treats in this bag, so I think it'll last us a long time. I think the price is fair. I may order these again.Educational corner: my vet has me giving my dog a treat first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. She went through a phase where she was throwing up white/yellowish foamy material (bile), and decreasing her eating intervals is the best thing to keep that from happening. It's been working well for us.
I got these as a treat for my mother's dog, who is used to me feeding him cheese whenever I visit (or stand up to walk into the kitchen). I traded out for these, and he loves them. A couple of these in place of little chunks of cheese and he's just as happy. They're small enough that they don't interfere with mealtime, and have the smell of peanut butter, and even more strongly of banana, which I first-though would not be pleasant to a dog, but I was proved wrong. I would not carry them in a pants pocket, as they will crumble with a bit of pressure, but a jacket pocket works fine. They have the color of a breaded food-item, though not quite that consistency. There were also a lot of crumbs in the bottom of the bag, and some of the pieces were broken. They appear to taste good (to the dog), and smell good to me. For an occasional treat, these are a good value.
I ordered the Dog Treats Naturals Superfood Bites in the flavor Peanut Butter & Banana. My dog is quite picky when it comes to food and treats. He has never touched a fruit or vegetable, so the inclusion of banana concerned me. If it's not meat or cheese, he usually isn't very interested - though he has enjoyed peanut butter in the past. I handed him one of the treats and he immediately dropped it on the floor. He sniffed it a few times and acted uncertain. Finally, he decided to eat it. It broke into several pieces, which he gobbled up once he realized he liked the flavor. I immediately offered him a second treat, which he took enthusiastically and ate in record time. They have an impressive clean and recognizable ingredient list: oat flour, barley flour, rolled oats, coconut oil, peanut butter, molasses, coconut glycerin, bananas, honey, cinnamon, turmeric, and black pepper. I love that they aren't filled with highly processed or unnatural ingredients that could be harmful to my dog's health. Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory, which needs a healthy fat (coconut oil) and piperine (black pepper) to increase bioavailability. I am impressed that they included all the components necessary for it to be beneficial for my dog. I take the same combination for my own health. They smell so good that I wonder how they would taste. If I didn't know they were dog treats, I would think they were intended for humans. The generously sized treats are in the shape of hearts, which is adorable. Some dogs may scarf them down in a single bite, but my 50 lb dog breaks them up into multiple pieces. They arrived mostly intact, with only a few broken treats. The best by date is 13 months in the future. The treats are currently selling for $7.63 (after coupon) for an 8 ounce package, which is a great price for a premium treat.
My 13 year old pitty girl surprisingly loves these! She typically turns her nose up to the “healthy” treats. She loves these! The bag is resealable and you get a good amount for the price. I will say that the yellow bag with white print is hard to read especially with a glare. The ingredients are human grade so they are healthy and safe for pets or humans (not that I would eat them lol!)I read another review that the treats came crumbled but my bag came with the treats all in tact. There are some crumbs in the bottom but most all of the treats are fully together. The are shaped as little hearts which is adorable. They aren’t completely soft so dogs with issues with chewing may have a hard time. I’d also recommend these for med-large dogs unless broken as they are a larger treat. The ingredients are all great! I love the added coconut oil & turmeric for joint & skin health. I would repurchase these!

My dog really liked these. I like that they actually smell like peanut butter and banana. Some other dog treats have terrible smells. These do not. The individual treats are pretty good size. My dog is able to chew them very easily. These are also a good way for my dogs teeth to get cleaned.
I was honestly worried my dog wouldn't touch these since he usually turns his nose up at anything that isn't meat, but after a quick sniff test, he devoured them. The quality of the ingredients is what sold me; seeing real foods like oat flour and turmeric instead of fillers makes me feel great about dog health. The smell is fantastic - like actual baked goods rather than processed pet food - and the chewability is perfect, soft enough to break apart but firm enough to not crumble instantly. Considering the clean label and the reasonable price, the value here is excellent for a premium treat.

My dog absolutely loves these treats and I feel good giving them to him because they actually seem thoughtfully made instead of just being empty snacks. The peanut butter and banana flavor is a hit and he gets excited the second he hears the bag, but what I like most is that the treats are chewy and soft enough that I do not worry about him struggling to eat them. I originally picked these up because of the added turmeric for joint support, and while I know treats alone are not a miracle fix, I like that there is an extra wellness benefit built in. They are a good size for rewards without being too big, so I can give one during training or just as a little daily treat without overdoing it. They smell pleasant and not overly processed, and they do not upset his stomach at all. Overall they feel like a healthier option compared to a lot of dog treats out there, and I will definitely keep these in rotation.

This is our first time trying a treat from the Dog Treat Naturals brand. Natural treats can go either way with our dogs. Sometimes they gobble them up, sometimes they seem to be more reluctant when taking one especially when there are no meat flavors involved. These were a HIT!We have 3 dogs in different sizes - large, medium and small. None of them, even our 2 senior pups, had any issues with these.As soon as you open the bag, you can really smell the natural ingredients. The combination of peanut butter, turmeric, cinnamon, molasses and banana was quite pleasant smelling!The heart shaped soft-baked treats (love that!) are a nice size and are fairly soft and easy to chew. I was able to break them apart by hand easily so that they were easier for the smaller dogs to eat. They aren't melt in your mouth soft and still require some chewing. However, they aren't rock hard like dog biscuits either. Even our smallest dog with limited teeth has no issues with these whatsoever. He barely even seems to chew them up before they are devoured!The bag I received did have some broken ones and crumbs but I will just use those to sprinkle on their food once I get to the bottom of the bag as a little extra treat topper. :)None of our dogs had any digestive issues after consuming these, even our dog with an incredibly sensitive stomach!I am thrilled with the ingredients, my dogs are pleased with the taste. Win win!
